Good reference for the newbie.
I'll recommend this book to anyone starting in cabling. I've been working with network cabling for more than eighteen years and this book is the best I've seen. Simple, clear, to the point
Technically, this is a very good book for those who really want to have idea about how to work with Cat 5 and communication cabling in general. I read this book a while back and think it is a good tool for someone starting the course. It doesn't eliminate the use of other resources.
