This is the first book review that I’ve ever written and this is because most books are regurgitations of prior writings- this book is not the aforementioned. Mithu lays out a clear and workable process in order to improve ones relationship to stress. This book has some great recommendations without becoming too prescriptive or dogmatic about how one should begin to ameliorate stress. What I loved most about the book is that it is heavily researched derived and sparsely anecdotal if at all. Books of this sort should only lay out the facts and allow the reader to discern what is applicable to thier own life, which is exactly what Dr. Storoni has accomplished in my opinion.

I'm glad I took a chance on this book. I've struggled with stress my entire life, especially with being unable to let things go, and this book explains why. It describes what happens in the brain during a stressful event and how to overcome it. Dr. Storoni gives easy, practical tips for dealing with stress on a short term and long term basis. Some of the medical terminology gets complicated, but it really helps to know what's going on in the brain, that it's not as easy as just let it go. I feel empowered now. I have an actual strategy for dealing with the negative things in life. I'm not kicking myself for overreacting anymore. Very thankful to have bought this.

I first rented an audiobook of this title from the library. I felt it was so informative that I needed a personal copy. I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 58 and stress is my biggest trigger. I'm looking forward to reading this again at my own pace and implementing some of the suggestions for stress relief.

I truly enjoyed this book! Dr Storini gives you countless ideas on how to be in the best physical and emotional state to handle stress. Each idea is backed up and detailed with scientific examples that are fascinating. I recomend this book for everyone no matter the amount on stress you endure or have experienced.

Great read. This book gives you the technology to learn how to control stress. It's a technology we could all benefit from, in this fast paced and crazy world we live in.

I get stressed when I read this book and it wasn't the purpose I guess, considering the title of this book.The author tells the reader about different studies but there's a lack of more in-depth information.

Amazing in every way! Funny, scientific, and non biased

Loved the book. I learned about my brain and body. I plan to makemany improvements to my own life.
